Our Founder
Founder, Kwanisha Carson, would have never imagined as a 11-year-old braider, using her big brother’s hair as a walking canvas and advertisement, would start the beginning of her hair ventures in the beauty industry. At just 11 years old she became a hair braider and by the time she made it to high school was enrolled in the Cosmetology program with part-time clientele. She later graduated high school with her cosmetology license and established clientele.
Fast forward to now, operating Diverse Trends Hair and Lash Studio, the passion and love for hair versatility and diversity continued as she explored all types of hair textures and types. The hair differences amongst various races and ethnicities has always been her genuine interest which Is where the vision for the brand was birthed. Beauty is an inward persona translated into an outward expression of one’s preference in fashion, style and beauty. There is no one solitary image of beauty, therefore, there should be no single standard for beautiful hair.
With this in mind she designed a collection with all women in mind — celebrating every tone, shape, style, and story.
Her mission is to honor the richness of inner beauty while highlighting the countless variations of outer beauty. Because true beauty isn't one-size-fits-all — it's wonderfully diverse.
